decode base64 encoded partial files with mutt?
Hello!
i have a guy who doesn't stop to send me the info i need in splitted
word documents, and he's unable to change his behaviour...
now for decoding the word documents i use wv and its just fine, but
acutally i am stuck in decoding the splitted file??
the files appear as attachments in mutt with the mime type
-> I 1 <no description>
[message/partial, 7bit, 58K]
the mail header of the mail:
Date: Wed, 29 May 2002 14:27:05 +0200
MIME-Version: 1.0
Content-Type: message/partial;
total=3;
id="01C2070C.29DDD100@y7f3v8";
number=2
X-Priority: 3
X-MSMail-Priority: Normal
X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 5.50.4133.2400
X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V5.50.4133.2400
X-UIDL: (;I"!k1W"!'X""!'a~"!
Status: RO
Content-Length: 60137
Lines: 781
so how can i extract the stuff in there?
BTW that was a thing i was wondering altogether: how do i enforce a given mime
type? i often get mailsattachments with a wrong type set, and its a pain to get
those things fixed (need to view them externally...)
