The upgrade method is designed to hold back packages if dependencies
change. Try dist-upgrade instead.
You can find out exactly what's going on using '-o
Debug::pkgProblemResolver=1', but the output may not be very easy to
understand. You might want to consider using a real frontend like
dselect or aptitude instead.
