GD.pm and libgd-perl problem

hi

i an upgraded woody installation.

i have installed libgd-perl and is trying to run the example from man GD. however, i get this error:

Can't locate GD/Image.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib/perl/5.6.1 /usr/local/share/perl/5.6.1 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.6.1 /usr/share/perl/5.6.1 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) at ./GD-test.pl line 5.

somehow, the GD modules is not loaded ?
