here are the lines from /etc/inittab
# What to do when CTRL-ALT-DEL is pressed.
ca:12345:ctrlaltdel:/sbin/shutdown -t1 -a -r now
# Action on special keypress (ALT-UpArrow).
kb::kbrequest:/sbin/shutdown -h now
iirc, I had to play with some setting to get ctrl-alt-end map to
kbrequest <see parentheses above>, but it was so long ago I don't
remember what.
