I started using kdm to control my login and have two problems. When I logged in on the console and ran startx, it would source my .bash_profile at login, and my .xinitrc during startx. Now neither is sourced. I copied the contents of .xinitrc to .Xsession, but the two commands in there are not activated. How can I have my .bash_profile get sourced by kdm? Or any other rc file?
