I've been reading the man page all day. If it made sense to those of us that
don't know exactly how a kernel interfaces with a tty/pty/xterm, I wouldn't
be asking. :) I've also checked out all the resources on the net I could
find - short of ordering the O'Reilly book. But - I'll look again. :)

My host doesn't provide ssh, as far as I know.
