pdnsd: disk cache file error
Hello: As of recent, I am seeing that the pdnsd.cache file in
/var/cache/pdnsd is not growing. Above and over that, while pdnsd is
started, it spews out this error inside /var/log/syslog:
Feb 8 06:38:29 localhost pdnsd[366]: pdnsd-1.1.7 starting.
Feb 8 06:38:29 localhost pdnsd[366]: Error in disk cache file.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
The permissions and ownership details of pdnsd.cache are as follows:
gnuhead:~# ls -l /var/cache/pdnsd/
total 0
-rw-r--r-- 1 pdnsd proxy 0 Feb 5 23:12 pdnsd.cache
The permissions and ownership details of the /var/cache/pdnsd is as
shown:
drwxr-xr-x 2 pdnsd proxy 4096 Feb 5 23:12 pdnsd/
Where is it that I am doing something wrong ? This problem started
after upgrading to the -2 and -3 revisions of the pdnsd packages.
