With Woody base frozen, is there any plan to move the pppoe package to base? This would greatly simplify setting up initial adsl connections for the majority of US adsl subscribers. As it stands now, one must download the basedebs.tgz, appropriate boot floppies and matching drivers, and the pppoe package prior to doing the install if you wish to apt-get the rest.
