What platform are you trying to write the disk on?  If you are in Windows, 
use something like Nero or Easy CD Creator to write the disk.  Make sure it 
makes a disc from the ISO image, not just writing the .iso file to a CD.

In Linux, you can use X-CD-Roast or cdrecord.  See CD-Writing-HOW-TO at 
linuxdoc.org
