What do ii & ri mean in the 1st column of the dpkg output?
ii xlibs 4.1.0-9 X Window System client libraries
ii zlib1g 1.1.3-5 compression library - runtime
ii zlib1g-dev 1.1.3-5 compression library - development
rc debconf-tiny 0.2.80.17 Tiny subset of debconf for the base
rc pump 0.7.3-2 Simple DHCP/BOOTP client for 2.2.x
rc python-base 1.5.2-10potato An interactive object-oriented
rc pythondoc 0.6-2 Generate reference manuals and
rc vim-rt 5.6.070-1 Vi IMproved - runtime support files
ri a2ps 4.13-2 GNU a2ps 'Anything to PostScript'
ri acct 6.3.5-17 The GNU Accounting utilities.
ri adduser 3.11.1 Add users and groups to the system.
"man dpkg" isn't very specific. Does it have to do with PACKAGE
SELECTION STATES "install" & "reinst-required"? Then what would
rc mean?
TIA
