I am also just about to invest time in procmail

send an email to mail-server@rtfm.mit.edu with the following one
line in the body (delete your signature I also suggest) and no
subject line needed.

send usenet/news.answers/mail/filtering.faq

this info comes from the NOTES section in $ man procmail and is recommended
for newbies like us.


We are never going to get Debian up and configured in a Sunday
afternoon, this is a _steep_ learning curve and patience is a virtue
as is reading the docs given.

Best of luck with procmail, don't stop trying.
