I was afraid of that.
Having "meta-packages" would be handy, though, for people who
want, for example, and up-to-date potato without any GUI
components, or development components, etc. Someone who wants
a fully decked-out workstation would install all of the meta-
packages.
Of course, then you'd have to have a meta-package maintainer,
which is Yet One More Thing To Do...
