Hello,
I am looking for anyone who is using DirecPC as
there gateway to the net. I am currently using and have been for
over a year now a DirecPC Satellite dish on my home network.
Everything works great except the Linux Boxes, They will stall during
downloads. And sometimes stall 20 times during a simple apt-get
update I believe this is due to the Latency on the dish, however the
windows machines never have anyproblem. I have two Debian
"UNSTABLE" boxes and one Red Hat 7.2 box. My server is
win2000.
I have been looking at the Helius Software Package
but the 4 user license is $199.00 and I am still hoping that the Local CO will
get me a MUC out my way soon so I can get ADSL.....err not soon
enough!
