True and good. But I should say I am smart enough not to risk myself to
test it at my system.  /usr and /usr/local /home/ftp are in separate
partition and -l shall exclude them in my system.  That's why my back up
is few MB only.

( So use these script after reading it.  It is not fool proof.)

I think back up /usr/local may be good idea since that is not controled
by debian dpkg.
