After I log into X, the first time xscreensaver runs, instead of just blanking the screen, like it should since I have an empty programs list in ~/.xscreensaver, it runs a random graphical thing. But if I then add a program to the list in ~/.xscreensaver, run it again (it uses the program I specify), then change ~/.xscreensaver back to the way it was originally--an empty list of programs--then it starts blanking the screen the way it should. Any ideas why it is acting like this? Is there some other config file that it's reading?
