GNOME problems

Hello again,
I'm trying to configure the Xsession file for GNOME
I've tried a bunch of different ways and still can't get it to work.

It says the file should begin with

#!/bin/bash
xterm &
gmc &
window-manager & (here I tried Enlightenment,FVWM and I also tried it with
the path instead of the name /usr/bin/X11/fvwm2)
panel
exit O (I tried o,O,0)
##

Is there a place I can view what this file is SUPPOSED to look like in it's
entirety or can someone see what I'm missing?
