Why would that exist on a directory one just untarred?  I noticed this
right after I untarred a tar.gz and was subsequently unable to cd into
it, for why I don't know.  Here is the full line:

drw-r-Sr--    5 rvf      rvf          4096 Dec  5 20:10 apg-1.1.6b/

rvf@shaitan:~$ cd apg-1.1.6b
bash: cd: apg-1.1.6b: Permission denied

Why would it do this?
