There are packages in main/binary-i386/x11/:
task-gnome-apps_1.0.3.deb
task-gnome-desktop_1.0.10.deb
task-x-window-system-core_1.0.deb
task-x-window-system_2.1.deb
They are meta packages which depends on other packages, so using dselect or apt-get is needed.
So try:
apt-get install task-x-window-system-core
apt-get install task-x-window-system
and for gnome desktop (if you want it too) install their task packages too. I am not quite sure, but you may have to install a right xserver, so you get something better than basic VGA. xserver package depends on type of your video card.
Note that apt-get downloads and installs its packages from internet. If you want install from cd, you can use apt-cdrom or dselect.
