What's the deal with the email (from some users) coming from this list that ends up with the body of the message coming as an '.ems' attachment? If it's an email client option, I'd suggest deactivating the option. I can't be the only one who can't read these without much inconvenience.

Those are PGP signed messages.
I see you're using Eudora, same as me. Yup, Eudora/PGP is broken, in that it sometimes can't decode the messages properly, if the "" are missing around the PGP Boundary header.

To see them using Eudora you need to install the PGP plugin, and then RTFM at the Eudora website. I wrote a little PERL script on my windows box to fix the messages.

I'd like to switch my e-mail reading to Linux too, so that I can run VMWare for everything except games, and I'd ask what's a good, Eudora-like e-mailer for X is, but based on the other Mail thread, I'm frankly afraid too. I tried Pronto, and it was OK, but it really slowed down the computer (P3 600, 128MB RAM). Anyone have any suggestions? Holy Wars > /dev/null
