crystal 4232 sound card module fail

Debian Ghost here.
Trying to get a crystal 4232 based sound card to work.
I have just compiled a new kernel 2.2.15 and run potato 2.2.
For some reason, I did not see the option to choose a module for crystal 4232 sound card in the 'make config'. I've seen one before, but don't know what option I choose to be able to choose it. At any rate, I tried to load a module that came with install to no avail:

If anyone could tell me what the unresolved symbol means, that would be great!
