Re: What is stormix

RE: What is stormixThe Starter version only has 1 CD whereas the Deluxe
version has 4 CDs. I found that the Starter version had everything I needed
on it. And once you get it installed you can always change your sources.list
to update from their site (all you have to do is uncomment the entries) and
you will have access to the rest of the packages. But if you want to order
the Deluxe package, I'm sure they could use the extra money. :)

Stormix is an easy way to get Debian potato up and running on your
computer
with a graphical installer. The Debian/Stormix distribution also includes
the newest Helix-gnome and 2.2.16 kernel.
You also get a very useful graphical front-end to apt-get and
dselect,
called Strom Package Manager. With its filter option and the sources list
you can easily find any of the more than 4000 Debian packages available on
the net.
Just go to Stormix.com and d/l the latest version .I am glad i did.
