Re: run arbitrary program as screensaver?



If you use xscreensaver you can simply get it to run a program by including a line in
your .xscreensaver file.  Fir example, I get it to run qiv to cycle over a set of
images via:

more ~/.xscreensaver
programs: \
          /usr/bin/X11/qiv -sfid 2.5 ~/Slideshows/almworkshop/* \n
