Lilo-problem

My hd setup is as follows:

/dev/hda 10Gb with 6meg dos partition /dev/hda1 on it and the rest free.
/dev/hdb  8.4Gb with /dev/hdb2 (about 8Gb) containing my slink/potato.

The previous Lilo would not work because of the 1024 cilinder
problem. So I installed the new lilo and it ran without a problem
using the -L option.

But when I boot, /dev/fd0 keeps running with a lot of

01 01 01 01 01 01 01

on the screen and nothing further happens.

My /etc/lilo.conf looks like this (comments removed)
-------------------------
boot=/dev/hda1
root=/dev/hdb2
compact
lba32
install=/boot/boot.b
delay=20
map=/boot/map
vga=normal
image=/vmlinuz
	label=Linux
	read-only
 other=/dev/hda1
   label=dos
-------------------------

I hope somebody can help me to fix this.

Johann.
