upgrading postgresql 6.5.3 -> 7.0.2

Hi,

	I successfully built postgresql 7.0.2 from source
(dpkg-source -x postgresql.dsc; debian/rules binary).
	Now I would like to upgrade the existing version (potato -
6.5.3).
	What's the best and smooth way to do this?
	I've tried dpkg -i all_postgresql_stuff.deb and it failed due
dependencies error.
	Thanks,
