Since gnome doesn't really provide a window manager, I'd assume
enlightenment would be set-up as the default (or loathe, twm!). Since
potato, window-manager preference is set through update-alternative,
with x-window-manager being the symlink. So,
update-alternatives --config x-window-manager (That should be enough,
you'll get prompted for the selection of *registered* window managers,
that are installed).
