APT & NFS-shared cache - segfaults

Hi!

I know it has been asked many times before,
but has anyone actually succeded in sharing /var/cache/apt
and /var/state/apt over NFS?
I had lock problems at first, but I switched to knfsd
and lock problem appears to be solved.
However, apt now gives the segmentation fault trying to update package lists.
Does anyone have a similar working setup?
