Xset and auto repeat
All this discussion of xlock and xset has put me in mind of a small annoyance
I've been experiencing on both my systems (running slink). I like to have auto
repeat on, so I have xset r on by default. However, when I lock the screen it
tends to reset the auto repeat function to off. I just type "xset r" in any
window to change it back, but it's bothersome to have to do that.
Anybody have any idea why this is happening, and whether it can be stopped? I
didn't have this problem before updating to slink.
