problem with HylaFax

Anyone know what the problem is here?  I purged the package and then
reinstalled it but the problem did not disappear.

Starting HylaFAX daemons: faxq/usr/sbin/faxq: Symbol `TIFFFaxBlackTable' has
different size in shared object, consider re-linking
/usr/sbin/faxq: Symbol `TIFFFaxMainTable' has different size in shared object,
consider re-linking
/usr/sbin/faxq: Symbol `TIFFFaxWhiteTable' has different size in shared
object, consider re-linking
 hfaxd.
