you can still compile persistant DMA buffers into the config with sound
modules at least i could with 2.2.11 and 2.2.12 .. i dont think the option
is available in 2.2.10 (what i currently run at home) and below i dont see
the option there. ever since i started usin isapnp i screwed my SBAWE32
PnP over and it wont detect unless i use modules and isapnp now(not that
it is a problem..)
