It depends. Usually the entries in /etc/apt/sourceslist reffer to
'stable'. There are two symlinks in the ftp archives, one called stable
(recently pointing to slink) and unstable (recently pointing to potato).
When potato is released somedays (e.g. becomes stable), the symlinks are
changed, according to that. So an apt-get update/dist-upgrade will then
automatically upgrade to potato. In this case you don't need to change the
entries.
