Mike,

There is a website that keeps a list of people that are willing
to giveaway CD's of Linux and others.

It may be possible to find someone on the list that lives in
your area that might lend their CD's to you or you can often
find someone that will send their CD's via the postal service
for free if you are willing to send the cost of postage.
