There are precompiled xserver as debian packages for slink for 3.3.4 and
3.3.5. You can get them by adding one of the following lines to
/etc/apt/sources.list:

    deb http://samosa.debian.org/~branden/ xfree86-334-slink/
    deb ftp://cadzentrum.m.fh-offenburg.de/pub/os/linux/debian/ ./

The first one is gives you 3.3.4, the other one 3.3.5...
