hosed libc6 install workarounds?
Anyone figured this out yet? Its going on 2 weeks now that I
haven't been able to use my box properly. :(. I'm very close to trying the
MS style fry and reinstall solution.

Consider using the new /etc/cron.daily/find
and modifing /etc/updatedb.conf
