no pitfalls ..provided your not using an isp that requires a special
client like say aol or compuserve or some of those free isps that have
those banner ads and shit. if its a stadnard isp ..shouldn't have a
problem. just remember to use the pppconfig command to configure ppp, i
never found that command till about 5 months after i started using
debian! doh! I much prefer a shell based dial script oppose3d to a X
based..that way you can dial from a prompt and you can set it to dial upon
bootup.
