Greets, So this has to be a FAQ., and I know I've solved this before, but can't remember how. My new laptop, a Solo 2500, under X (using the neomagic server) has the backspace and del keys doing odd things (forward deletion or ~'s depending on the program) and ctrl-H doing the proper backspace thing.
