So I did, downloaded xlib6_... xlib6g_... and xlib6g-dev, installed them
manually with dpkg and the rest installed smoothly with "dselect and
apt".

But if there is a failure in the Packages.gz (or were is the problem?)
maybe the provider would like to know about it!
