The free ftp download of Red Hat linux will likely be the first casualty.
They are offering it now to boost market share, to become dominant. Once
you have a monopoly, you can start to jack up the price.  Look at the
price of DOS after MS knocked all the competitors out of the market. Went
from under $10 to over $80.
