Upgrading X to 3.3.3 and missing files

Hi all-

I just received my slink CDs (yay!) and installed without any problems (that
I know of yet). I purchased a Matrox Millenium G200 video card and I was
informed from an response that I needed to upgrade my X packages to 3.3.3
and that the .debs were at http://master.debian.org/~vincent/xfree-3.3.3.1/
. I downloaded what I thought to be the necessary files:

rstart_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
rstartd_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
twm_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xbase-clients_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xbase_3_3_3_1-0_all.deb
xdm_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xext_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xf86setup_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xfonts-100dpi_3_3_3_1-0_all.deb
xfonts-75dpi_3_3_3_1-0_all.deb
xfonts-base_3_3_3_1-0_all.deb
xfree86-common_3_3_3_1-0_all.deb
xfs_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6-altdev_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6-static_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6g-dev_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6g-static_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6g_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xmanpages_3_3_3_1-0_all.deb
xmh_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xserver-common_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xserver-svga_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xserver-vga16_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xsm_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xterm_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xvfb_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb

I determined what I needed by browsing through the Debian package listings
on the Debian site and noting what packages were required for installation.
I then installed all af the above (by executing dpkg -i * within the
download directory) except for:

xext_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6-altdev_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6-static_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xlib6g-dev_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb (I can't remember if I installed this or not)
xlib6g-static_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb
xvfb_3_3_3_1-0_i386.deb

which I moved to another directory.

Everything installed okay, but when I ran XF86Setup, I got an error message:

Not all of the X keyboard extension programs adn configuration files are
installed. The file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xkb/compiled/README is missing.

I checked that directory and it was empty. Why would the directory be
created and nothing put in it? I checked the Contents.gz file on my CDs and
couldn't find any files that might correlate with this one.

Anyone know where the package is that I need to install to solve my problem?

TIA,

Mark
