/usr/doc/libc6/changelog.Debian.gz:

glibc (2.0.7.19981211-2) frozen unstable; urgency=low

  * Get ldd out of the libc6 package on architectures
    with libc5.
  * It may be necessary to reinstall ldso to get ldd back.
