As for the interrupts, The IRQ of the comm port I have minicom setup for
will appear once minicom is loaded.  Ie when I have minicom setup and
running with /dev/ttyS2:
$ cat interrupts
 0:    8187633   timer
 1:       2002   keyboard
 2:          0   cascade
 4:        440 + serial
10:     607355   3c509
11:     163981 + 53c7,8xx
13:          1   math error
