I think it is time to let this thread die. There are a lot of people for
person of the century ahead of Linus and RMS. People that saved little
children from crippling diseases, saved us all from dying of (now) minor
infections, more closely defined the universe we live in, etc.  Sorry
folks, lets try to keep some perspective. And really, I do not see what it
matters anyway to try to name a person of the century ... all it does is
waste time and energy arguing and dividing people for absolutely no
purpose at all.

I cast my vote for Kaptain Kangaroo.
