how do i get a copy of the linux image kernel.

hi,

from the direct links in the debian.org, install file, i've downloaded
all of the install files except the linux image kernel file.   when i
click on the link, the browser tries to open the file (instead of
allowing me to save it to a disk).

should i just try to get the image kernel from a mirror site.  if so,
what would be be the name of the file.

thanks for any help/advice that can be given.
