If you want to upgrade, you have to upgrade all the stuff, or the
apps. So much stuff has to be recompiled. 

We work on it. When we have a set of packages that work, they will be
moved to unstable simultaneously, so that (hopefully) nothing breaks
on upgrade.

Just be patient for now :-)
