i can't use xplaycd or any other cd playing program as a normal user. the message i get from xplaycd is that permission is denied to use /dev/cdrom. i can make the program work using sudo though. any way i can fix this? i will supply diagnostics if someone shows me how to get them. regards, vinny -- Vincent Murphy | UCC CompSci Student | theDon@cs.ucc.ie | +353 (086) 8397405
