May I suggest switching the layout of your 2 computer network.  Make
your Linux box the server/gateway and the linux/win95 dual boot box the
client.  You won't have to worry about setting up routing/serving etc
on both os's of the dual boot.  IP-Masq is really easy on linux and is
transparent to the win95 box, no sock clients, proxy setup or anything.
You can use samba on your linux box if you want to server drives to the
win95 box.

So read the (mini-)HOWTO's on IP-Masq, Samba, Smb, Net-3, Ethernet.
