Need help configuring samba
I've got a Win95 machine which I need to use the printer on my linux box.
I've installed the most recent Samba package for hamm, but:
Until now I've been using the standard Win95 TCP/IP stack and NONE of the
clients (Client for Microsoft Networks, etc.) -- I just used telnet,
etc. ... I tried to install a NetBios client so I could get to my Samba
shares, but there isn't one. I've got NetBuei and a few others (Banyan
Vines, Novell, the standard ones that come with windows) ... which one
do I want, and how do I get it to find my samba server? Right now, it
doesn't appear in the network neighborhood or anything...
Will
