Several nuances after upgrading recently...
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Recently I went online and updated all of my local packages tht had newer
versions... Not a small download.
When I was finished, several things had been changed from their
normal behavior. Mostly, these are pretty stupid, but I'd like them fixed.
* xemacs uses white for its text background color. The window is colored
grey, which a white block extending everywhere text does. Additionally, it
is not a solid white. When I move the cursor through it, it breaks up into
alternating lines of grey/white. I can't read my code in xemacs now, adn
it's my favorite code editor! :(
* I use xautolock in the background from my .xsession file. When it locks
the screen, and I cause an event that triggers the login screen, I get a
strange thing. Instead of the regular windowed login prompt, I get white
blocks where the windows should be, and I see no text in them; nor do I
see the mini screen saver
* Ghost icons do not appear in wmaker any more. Instead of an icon
ghosting when it's double-clicked, I get a yellow block. Perhaps this is
more of a bug type question
These are the three that come to mind. Thanks in advance!
