I think I've heard of the same library (MMX stands for "Matrix math
extensions", IIRC), but can't place it; however, the K6 also carries the
genuine intel MMX.  You're certainly not losing anything by buying a K6 -
performance is in the PPro/PII class, but it fits on a socket 7 mb.
