MMX in Linux? (was Re: Hi)

Actually that may not be entirely true, it seems that binutils now
supports some MMX opcodes.  I'm not at all familiar with the inner
workings of gas and the rest of the utilities so I am not sure how MMX is
used in compiled/assembled code, if at all.
