Hi

I have an AOpen 3D Artist PT70 video card based on the ViRGE/DX chip.
I can start the svga xserver and it seems to work. After selecting
"exit" with the mouse, the xserver terminates and leaves the console
corrupted.  About every second character is visible.

Apparently the video card has been confused. 

Any help will be appreciated.
